The Corio Hotel Restaurant & Bar

The Corio Hotel located in Railway Terrace Goolwa, has been an integral feature of the landscape of Goolwa since its construction in 1858. Named after the paddle steamer “SS Corio”, which sank in 1857 on the Murray River, the National Trust listed hotel has traded continuously, with it’s current licensees Rick and Nada O’Donnell, managing it since 2001.

A hotel service that delivers a friendly, dependable and above all enjoyable experience, has been worked hard upon by both Rick and Nada along with the multitudes of friendly staff, which have serviced the needs of patrons over these last 13 years.

Dining
The dining facilities have been designed to provide both a memorable and value for money experience. From simple and traditional front bar meals to family oriented ensembles, value for money is always at the forefront of perception, with the chefs and talented kitchen staff also ensuring restaurant style specials and unique flavourings add to this epicurean experience that is the Corio Hotel.

Along with a constantly changing salads bar and hot vegetable eatery, the range and continuous changeover of specials only serves to encourage the satisfied patrons quick and consistent return.

Bottle Department
A varied range of spirits, beers and local wines ensures that the consumer has a large selection and well priced items to choose from in the conveniently positioned Sip’n'Save “Drive Thru” bottle shop provision located to the side of the majestic hotel.

Be it a warm winter drop or a cool invigorating summer drink, whatever is desired the Corio Hotel makes an excellent choice to indulge. With sporting event projections in multiple bars, TAB facilities, Lotto agency and Keno, all the flutters and whims can be accommodated, as well as in our gaming room, the “Yankee Doodle”.
