Locally known as The Drom or Tilba Pub, this beautiful historic building was built in 1895 following a gold rush in the area. Originally a coffee house, it was renamed the Dromedary Hotel in the 1940s, after the nearby Mount Dromedary – itself named by Capt. Cook due its resemblance to a camels hump. Today, Central Tilba sits below the majestic Gulaga and is a stunning, untouched heritage village – well worth a visit if youre planning a trip to the area.

Built in 1888 to a Grand scale over 3 levels, we offer a 7 day restaurant open for lunch and dinner, accommodation, function rooms overlooking Port Philip bay, 3 bars and plenty of parking. The Golden Grain Hotel was established in 1906 as the Land of Promise hotel. It was rebuilt in 1913 after what is believed to be a fire, as the Commercial  Hotel and was renamed the Golden Grain Hotel in 1958.
