Earl of Leicester Hotel searving some of the best bar meals in Adelaide, including our famous top quality (massively huge) Schnitzels€¦ An exceptional wine list with Happy Hour Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 6pm. A real old school boozer. The way we like it.
The Earl of Leicester Hotel was built in 1886 for Henry Pope who was the licensee until 1894. The architects were English & Soward and along with William Ling, the contractor, they built a charming two storey pub constructed of red brick and bluestone. Externally it has retained most all of its original appearance; internally extensive renovation still evokes the 19th century with the use of exposed timber, bluestone walls and open fireplaces.
