NUMBERS has been located at 300 Westheimer Houston, TX. USA for 40 years and were proud to be Houstons oldest and most infamous venue for live local, international and breaking alternative acts (see concert history).
When not showcasing live music, NUMBERS remains open as the largest progressive video dance bar in the US with music and videos by various djs depending on the night.
Besides live music, Numbers is probably known best for its weekly €œClassic Numbers€ Fridays, which has been a consistent Houston event running for more than 25 years with club/new wave/alternative 80s music and video + some current tunes mixed by Dj Wes Wallace.
Featured in national publications such as Rolling Stone, Billboard, CMJ, Spin and Details etc €¦ , you wont find a venue of this size providing progressive dance music and live alternative international and local acts anywhere else in the country.
If you like bands such as Goldfrapp, Die Antwoord, The Cure, The Presets, Depeche Mode, M83, LCD Soundsystem, Wolfsheim, Gesaffelstein, Crystal Castles, New Order, The Faint, Nine Inch Nails, Ladytron, Lords of Acid, Cut Copy, Felix da Housecat, Front 242, White Stripes, Miss Kittin, She Wants Revenge, Delerium, Daft Punk, Underworld, Xymox, Beastie Boys & specific alternative 80s music, then youre in luck.
NUMBERS features a state of the art laser/light show with digital video projectors, large video screens and several monitors scattered through out the club which project videos and remix videos edited exclusively for NUMBERS. Upstairs is an HD video bar overlooking the stage and dancefloor. There is a lot to look at as our clientele ranges from professionals to school kids of all ages, races and sexual preferences. We encourage originality and do not discriminate €”- ie : €œNo Dress Code, No Cocktail Waitresses, No Valet and No Attitude€.
