We are excited to re-establish this vibrant meeting place and look forward to continuing the tradition that has been the Punka Pub for over 100 years.
The McGillivray and Boynton families are passionate about the local region and love bike riding, football, motorbikes, fishing and of course sensational local produce, beer and wines. Our vision was to re establish a good friendly country pub with great food and drinks along with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and we’ve gathered a team of like-minded staff who share our values, philosophy and passion for the local area.
Our menu offers the very best Pub favorites and includes a range of season dishes utilizing fresh ingredients from the region and beyond. From our famous Parma to our Crispy skinned salmon fillet with soba noodle salad we hope to tantalize every taste bud.
The wine list showcases offerings from local growers and our beer menu provides an exciting new platform for a variety of craft beers and old favourites: local where possible, and Victorian predominantly, with a splash of interest from some innovative brewers in our neighbouring states thrown in for good measure.
With an eclectic blend of familiar favourites spiced up with a few surprises, our beer, wine and food menus offer something for everyone. Our friendly team bring with them a passion for all things Porepunkah and are looking forward to meeting you.
