Les Grands Verres has been imagined to fit perfectly with the artistic universe of this Parisian cultural hotspot and to bring a bit of an €œeast side€ approach with cocktails to the neighborhoods local life. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor to the city, we are a lively meeting point whose identity is cultural, artistic, gastronomic, universal, festive and cosmopolitan.
To symbolize the collaborative spirit and openness which characterizes Quixotic Projects culture, a monumental 13 meter-long bar constructed of compacted earth will animate the venue and accompany the guest in their entry the restaurant experience. With up to 170 seats, this space imagined in collaboration with the Parisian agency Lina Ghotmeh €“ Architecture, constitutes a wide mineral world where stone, earth, wood, metals, and light live together.
In the kitchen, American chef Preston Miller proposes his vision of a grand Mediterranean brasserie inspired by his various origins and based on the founding principles of all Quixotic Projects venues: fresh and local products, respect for the seasonality, originality and the desire to have the most limited impact on our environment. The bar explores new sustainable practices, implementing unique solutions to reducing bottle and packaging waste. We also grow our own edible flower garden, compost on-site and recycle almost all of our garbage in addition to hosting 40,000 new neighbours: our bees!
On the beverage side of the story, the cocktail menu is enriched by authentic creations, always respecting our conviction of waste reduction and using and reusing materials that have a limited impact on our planet.
The promise of summer allows guests to settle in the big outdoor terrace where tables blend with the imposing columns of the Palais de Tokyo and where river banks offer an incredible view on the Seine and the €œDame de Fer€ €“ the Eiffel Tower. Certainly the background of one of the most handsome terraces in Paris! By sundown, this superb outdoor space also hosts DJs and other entertainment.
