Studies show that people read reviews and trust the reviews of a group of people they do not know. Weber shandwick study reported that 77 percent of consumers pay more attention to consumer reviews than to professional critic reviews.

Second – Make it easy for them to review. Add a link to listing on your website and social media. The easier it is for people to review your venue the most good reviews you will get. If someone is going to write a bad review they will spend time finding a place to write it. Make it easy for people posting good reviews, they are the ones you need.
