Claimant details

In June of 1963, Tony Crapitto saw the need for a bar supply company to serve the city of Houston. With his first warehouse in the back of his garage in the East End, Tony began selling and delivering bar supplies from an old Frito-Lay truck. Within a year, Tony had moved to a real warehouse on Cullen Blvd and added another employee and an additional truck. Gary Jones, his first employee, worked for Tony until he was called to service in Vietnam in 1967. When he returned in 1971, Gary rejoined Tony in a larger warehouse at 4900 Griggs Rd. Gary became a member of the family upon his marriage to Tony’s daughter and eventually bought the business in 1976. Originally only serving ice-houses and liquor stores, Tony’s Bar Supply had expanded significantly when the Texas legislature began to issue permits for liquor by the drink.

Gary incorporated the business and welcomed Norman Rund, also a Vietnam veteran and Tony’s other son-in-law, into the business as a shareholder in 1977. n 2016, Gary and Norman retired and sold the business to Hitesh Amin. Hitesh, his son Shivan and wife Mona have continued to service the Houston and greater Houston market with the same family owned ideals, customer service oriented staff and quality products. Alongside our dedicated in-house staff is a team of highly knowledgeable sales representatives to assist our customers in making the best decisions for the businesses.

In late 2017, the Tony’s team decided to change the corporation name to Tony’s Wholesale Supply Co. to attract a wider customer market. Along with the name change we have added a variety of new inventory to meet all our customer needs.

The Oldest Pubs In Adelaide

Adelaide, commonly known as the city of churches, hides another rich historical facet – it’s a city teeming with classic bars and pubs. Strolling through Adelaide, you’re likely to be captivated by its historic houses and striking churches. However, it’s the pubs that often steal the show. These establishments, some of the most majestic and historic in Australia, don’t always get the recognition they deserve. For instance, consider the Newmarket Hotel, a stunning three-story pub from 1883, which, though facing demolition, remains a significant piece of Adelaide’s history.

Another hidden gem is the Beresford Arms Inn on Gilles St. Though no longer operational, its magnificence is undeniable.
