Dine with mermaids!

Wreck Bar, Fort Lauderdale.

Wreck Bar, Fort Lauderdale.

If you’ve never been to Florida, you’re definitely losing a lot. If you go there, just remember to check out Fort Lauderdale’s Wreck Bar, where you can have dinner with mermaids. Yep, that’s right!

The Wreck Bar is a definite family destination for any holidays, and yes, your family can enjoy this bar too. In there, you’ll be able to enjoy delicious and fresh seafood with or without your family. Also, they serve a lot of great tasting tropical cocktails that would please the pickiest palate. So, if you’re going there, you’re in for a treat!

What are you going to find at the Wreck Bar?

You’ll find a historic place with great service and the best seafood around. Also, their cocktails rock! As we said, there is a family-friendly mermaid’s show. Have a little princess that wants to know a living mermaid? Then the Wreck Bar is a definite must-go for you to check with your family!

Also, when the sun comes down, you can see the mermaids show again. It won’t be the same, though. At 9:30 p.m in this bar things get a little spicier. And the show turns into an underwater burlesque presentation!

Marina Anderson, a.k.a MeduSirena is the main performer in this act, followed by her Aquaticats. She takes inspiration in Esther William’s movies from the 1950s, so it’s a really classy show that’ll surely get your boat floating! This is a 21 y.o presentation, so that will give you an idea of how spicy it can get. Pair up this with a couple of cocktails and some shrimps and you’re good to enjoy a quite different night!

So, if you’re around Florida and want to have some fun, this is the place to go. With or without your family it will be lots of fun!  Ready for the show? Maybe you can get a mermaid’s phone number!

Cheers!
