International Straw Free Day was started a while ago by the eco-warriors to reduce our reliance on single-use plastic straws, which have a major impact on the environment. Straw Free Day doesn't mean you have to skip out on your favorite cocktails! just maybe say no to the straw if it is plastic. Many bars and restaurants now offer other options such as paper straws or wheat straws.
