Best Rooftop Bars In San Francisco

Many people consider San Francisco one of the most beautiful cities and claims that there is no such a charming place all around the globe.

There are some amazing Rooftops with amazing drinks and killer views of the city’s skyline.

1. El Techo de Lolinda

Although it is a little bit hidden, El Techo de Lolinda is the hottest spot in Mission. Arrive early to find a seat with sizzling city views and grab their Latin American beverage beyond the extraordinary. Take advantage of the happy hour this casual tapas bar offers. Enjoy a pitcher of margaritas with your best friends and share tasty Carne Asada with the love or your life, under the beautiful heat lamps. Yummy!

2. Dirty Habit

Adopt all the dirty habits Dirty Habit offers. Come to this sexy outdoor space in the Hotel Zelos, lay back in one of their leather sofas in front of fireplaces and enjoy the view while the water is slightly bubbling in the fountains. Ask for a glass of excellent whiskey or the top-notch craft cocktails this stylish destination has led to perfection. Don’t forget to make a reservation for the terrace. It always fills up in advance.

3. Charmaine’s

Climb to the top of the Proper Hotel, approximately 120 feet above Market Street, and discover their lovely rooftop bar. Enjoy the awesome view, the intimate vibe, and excellent selection of drinks. European charm of the Charmaine’s, with geometric designs and floral patterns in a combination of plants and fire pits on the terrace, is the place which you shouldn’t miss. Real connoisseurs come here to explore their inspired cocktail menu divided into seven groups, with seven unbelievably good cocktails in each. Cheers.

4. Rooftop25

A kind and attentive staff of the Rooftop25 works every day from 11:30 am to 8 pm. Come here for a drink and an astonishing sunset-viewing. Enjoy a relaxed vibe while trying their excellent bottled Piña Colada and adorable Spicy Passionfruit Margarita. Order some specialties such as wood-fired pizza loaded with sausage, oregano, fennel, and apple and tasty roasted oysters. Look beyond the olive trees and fall in love with this beautiful city.

5. 620 Jones Bar

620 Jones Bar is a premium city’s rooftop bar with a cozy, garden-like furnishing and heating during winter months. The view is not impressive, but you still can enjoy imaginative cocktails, first-class wine, and a good selection of beers. After entering through the wrought iron gates, you will find an open-air terrace with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere which makes this spot worth coming. Don’t miss their happy hour which runs every day from 5 pm to 7 pm.

6. The Pearl

The Pearl is a flexible-use, 4,655-square-foot rooftop garden where creative people unite the city’s industrial history, nature, and art. They have found a way to put together all the beauty and wealth of San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood. Become one of up to 700 guests who enjoy the most exceptional selection of wine, top-notch spirits, and local beers while 360-degree views of the Oakland hills and the Bay take your breath away.

7. Anchor Distilling Co. Coming 2020

One of the best-kept secrets in San Francisco is definitely Anchor Distilling’s, the light-strung, private roof terrace. While sitting at this idyllic bar surrounded by fragrant, edible plants, you can order a drink and add some berries, fruit, and herbs from the adjacent garden in it. Be one of the privileged who has an opportunity to taste six varieties of whiskey from the hometown distillery as well as gin and vodka.

8. Top of The Mark

I will just say – The Top of the Mark ‘100 Martini Menu’. Come to sip one of the martinis with a view of the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city skyline. Believe me; you need nothing more to spend a couple of quality hours under the open sky. This jewel, located on the top of the Mark Hopkins Hotel’s 19th floor, provide live piano music, classy mid-20th-century vibe, and fantastic sunset moments.

9. Dobbs Ferry SF

Meet the Ferry, my favorite drinking destination. This place is not the common roof bar, but it definitely deserves to be on this list because of a breathtaking look across the bay, the bridge, the city skyline, and the rough waters beneath you. You just need a Clipper card which will ensure you unbelievable enjoyment at the affordable price. Be prepared that their choice of drinks is revolving around beer. Grab a bottle of Lagunitas and feel all the pleasure of this fantastic cruise.
