This local watering hole has been here as long as anyone can remember. Perched on the shore of Qualicum Beach since first opening its doors in 1924, The Shady Rest Pub has been a meeting place for the great minds of the area to sit and discuss the world's problems - though they still haven't seemed to solve 'em! Come on down for a pint, to watch the game, play some games, cheers a friend, buy a round, meet someone new, sing, dance and generally be merry. With the same great menu and selection of items that we feature in our Restaurant, Pub patrons get to sample some of the area freshest and finest ingredients while they relax in an adult only (19+) environment. Sigh of relief?
