If you’re looking for an establishment that combines the buzz of a city centre bar with the friendly feel of a rural gastropub, then The Hub Alehouse and Kitchen is the place for you. Part of the stunning Casartelli building on Hanover Street, next door to Posh Pads and true to its name, this welcoming grade-II-listed pub is a hub for the local community and visitors alike. It close proximity to the city’s shops and attractions makes The Hub popular with visitors enjoying all the delights that Liverpool has to offer. Inside, the decor is a unique blend of the modern and the traditional, and offers plenty to look at while you’re enjoying a pint ¢‚¬€œ there is an impressive copper brewing vessel sitting by the bar, and the traditional copper pots, pans and cooking utensils hanging from the ceiling blend perfectly with the modern, chunky wooden furniture.

The home-cooked fare on offer at The Hub is made using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers in the city and from farms across Cheshire and North Wales. The lunch and dinner menus offer everything from light bites, pizzas and sandwiches to classic pub dishes and innovative mains. The delicious Soy Marinated Cod with Chorizo, Fennel, Dill and Apple, the ever-popular Roast Duck Breast with Celeriac Puree, Caramelised Fig & 5 Spice Jus and the fantastic fillet steak will delight even the most discerning foodies, and are even better when enjoyed with one of The Hub’s well-chosen wines, cask ales or classic cocktails. To finish, try White Chocolate and Coconut Cheesecake with Pineapple Jam ¢‚¬€œ it’s one of the many traditional puddings available at The Hub, and is a real treat for diners with a sweet tooth. Those with a more savoury palate will love the rustic cheeseboard, which features, among others, the delicious Black Bomber and Snowdonia Red Devil.

Our Breakfast/Brunch menu is available every day, so you can enjoy a lovely Orange & Blackberry Granola, Cinnamon & Vanilla French Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes or a Traditional Full English, served ‚ Mon-Fri 9am ¢‚¬€œ 1pm and Sat-Sun 9am ¢‚¬€œ 12pm. It’s worth taking advantage of our excellent Wine & Dine offer ¢‚¬€œ 2 courses & bottle of wine PER PERSON for ‚£19.50, served every Tuesday 4.30-10.30pm.

If it’s just a drink you’re after, there’s an excellent selection of superb wines and champagnes,‚  lots of world beers on draught‚  and by the bottle, and of course a wonderful range of cask ales supplied by micro breweries across the Northwest.‚  The Hub’s ¢‚¬ Happy Hour¢‚¬ which offers 2 cocktails for ‚£9.50 every evening from 5 till 6:30 pm is a great way to wind down from a busy day at the office, an afternoon’s shopping, or a starting point for a lively night out.
