The Blackheart is a premier whiskey bar and music venue nestled in Austin's Historic Rainey Street District. Built in 1889 as a private residence, this Austin staple has since been expanded to include two bars, two stages and a large patio. Reclaimed wood and materials were used to preserve the Victorian details and original character of the house. The Blackheart features a wide selection of whiskeys as well as traditional and specialty cocktails, beer and wine.

We delight in sipping cold gin cocktails on hot front porches, slow-turning ceiling fans, small-batch spirits, Stetsons, straight bourbon whiskey, inspiration scrawled on cocktail napkins, dirty secrets, deep belly laughter, a toast for revelry, a shot for solemnity, flirtatious winks, saying "please" and "thank you", standing up for our friends, and respecting our elders. All the simple pleasures that make life worth living.
