Brand new riverbank venue Malt Shovel Taphouse Adelaide celebrates all things beer. The craft beer bar and kitchen offers unique, authentic experiences around the beloved craft beer, all in a relaxed, contemporary space.
The new craft beer bar and kitchen will offer a beer-centric experience with 48 taps, tasting paddles and a menu that heroes spit-rotisserie meats.
Among the rotating selection of 16 different beers on tap at the TAPHOUSE will be “limited releases” such as a Malt Shovel Brewers XPA, a Panhead V Malt Shovel Ditch Creeper NEIPA, and Little Creatures XPA, as well as beers from its Eumundi, Kosciuszko, James Squires, White Rabbit, Furphy and Byron Bay craft breweries.
The wine list features South Australian wines and the entire portfolios of G.H. Mumm and Perrier-Jouët Champagne’s.
The TAPHOUSE menu is not what you would expect, no burgers or steak but instead mouth-watering rotisserie meats and an extensive vegetarian offering that is quintessentially South Australian.
Some of the standout food items available include rotisserie rolls and meat ‘from the spit’, paired with carefully selected craft beer beverages. The carefully curated menu also features many vegetarian plates, including salt & Pepper Tofu with pressed watermelon, mandarins and shallot onions, Crumbed and Spiced Swiss Mushrooms, and Agave Glazed Roasted Pumpkin with yoghurt and toasted seeds.
