M O’Briens And Lounge enjoys an ideal location on Leeson Street Bridge in the heart of Dublin city centre. The bar is just ten minutes walk from well-known Dublin landmarks such as St. Stephens Green, Baggot Street, and close to the Burlington Hotel.
Recently renovated in 2008, O’Briens still retains its famous bar which has remained untouched for nearly 100 years now, making it one of the oldest in Dublin. The bar is still manned by the dependable Tony and PJ, two of the longest serving and most loyal bar men in the city. There is strictly no music and no television in this bar – just great conversation and good craic.
The new upstairs lounge boasts a varied and extensive lunch menu which is a popular choice for many people so we advise arriving early.

Fridays are always popular‚ for after work gatherings, particularly when the sun is out when the bar can be as busy inside as it is outside. Lots of people from all walks of life come to celebrate the end of the working week by enjoying a drink at O’Briens.
