Lucky is a warm neighborhood bar, a "dive bar for grownups." What does that mean? It's a bar with a toilet you aren't afraid to sit on and a glass of wine you won't spit out. Prices range from cheap PBRs and $6 well drinks to $15 fancy cocktails. There's an old school jukebox full of CDs, made by local DJs, paying homage to defunct downtown bars, clubs and parties. Plus there's a lovely, tree-shaded back yard where you're welcome to smoke or hang out with your dog. We have mocktails for those who don't partake of the demon alcohol plus options for the gluten and dairy intolerant.
Lucky is a comfortable neighborhood bar, delightfully douche-free, with a warm, whip-smart staff that doesn’t suffer fools. It isn’t for everyone. But it may be for you.
