The Hotel Tivoli Function Centre has been an entertainment and meeting place since 1846. In the 19th Century, it was one of Adelaide’s leading theatrical venues, used as a theatre and assembly rooms before Town Halls were built, providing important social spaces in the young colony. In its 170 year history, the Tivoli Hotel has hosted music events, theatrical performances and rock icon concerts. It's name was taken from the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen , a world famous public amusement park that opened in 1843.
Our Grand Ballroom is the last of its kind in South Australia. It was reborn as a popular live music venue from the 1970s - 1980s, presenting some of Australia’s top acts at the time such as Cold Chisel.
We are proud to be reopening this Heritage Listed iconic and historic venue as a spectacular Function Centre, catering to your next special occasion or event in elegant and luxurious surroundings.
