The friars is a traditional Irish family run Restaurant, which was designed by Ray & Michelle o hanrchan from Ireland Early 2007. Named after the famous Irish monk(well his grandfather was irish) and poet, our Reataurant /bar offers fast and friendly service. Conveniently located on the old coast road heading South we are the ideal place to drop off your tour guests for a lovely meal. Arrangements have been made for any busses that will need to park during the visit. Friars interior is rich in history and culture, with plenty to see. Once inside the restaurant/bar, you will be transported across miles of ocean, to a charming and inviting family setting. Whether you are pulling up a barstool and engaging in conversation with your co-workers; or pulling up a chair at a happy family gathering and being warmed by the fire in winter or cooled by our new installed aircon system in summer, we have whatever is needed to make you next visit a special one.
