Lucetta spent a large part of her life as a cabaret dancer & when she could dance no longer she invested her savings in a modest speakeasy bar in the south of Italy.
Lucetta's wine bar garnered a reputation not only for the drinks, but for the glowing, warm hospitality. Hospitality so special that her regulars nick-named this favourite place of theirs ‘La Lucciola' – The Firefly.
A century later we continue an old tradition at our modern day wine bar & restaurant Firefly Neutral Bay. We welcome you to come and share the legacy of good wine, honest sharing food & warm service that shines like its' namesake.
