Electric Playground Nightclub

Electric Playground opened in mid-2010 (after the launch was delayed by some volcano going off in Iceland...), and replaces the Valley nightclub staple Planet. Setting up shop in a crowded section of Brisbane's buzzing nightlife zone, the new owners have placed a focus on top-shelf dance music and a consistent mix of international acts alongside up-and-coming local DJs. You can expect to hear cutting edge Electro and House music played out of a world-class club sound-system on most nights of the week, and the team here have put in a tonne of effort to make sure that Electric Playground stands out from the mass of competitors with an untouchable line-up and some real surprises on the international guest front. Although it's early days yet, Electric Playground has quickly built up a loyal following of locals, and with each event seemingly bigger than the last it looks like things will only get better
