Busters Bar & Grill

Opened in November 2016 down the river end of Pakington Street, Busters Bar & Grill is the perfect place to gather with friends and family for great food and service. ‘Busters’ offers an exceptional, local dining experience to cater for all ages, tastes and dietary requirements.

Come down and enjoy the Busters experience inside in our comfy booths or dine outside in our alfresco area with some great views of Pakington Street. If its for a sit down meal, an afternoon coffee, a cocktail or wine with friends or a nice cold beer, Busters has something to please everybody.

A Bit About Buster
Buster was born and bred in Geelong, and was trained as a cook in the army from 1975. He later worked at Alcoa as a cook, before opening Buster’s on Moorabool Street in 1985, where the famous Buster Burger was born.

After running his own show at Buster’s for six years, Buster worked in various roles before returning to Alcoa.

Always wanting to return to the Buster’s of old, he launched Busters Bar and Grill on Newtown’s Pakington Street in late 2016, with a focus on quality food and great service.

Married to wife Lesley for more than 35 years, Buster has two children, Ry, who works with him at Busters, and Zac, an apprentice plumber.
