The Bier Halle first opened its doors to the public on October 1999. Under the leadership of legendary publican Colin Barr, the Bier Halle has developed into a Glasgow institution which has pioneered our city's now thriving beer culture.
Inside we are a contemporary beer hall with Czech and German influences. We serve one of the widest selections of international and craft beers that Glasgow has to offer, with over 100 draught and bottles to choose from! Over the years we have become famous for our ‘2 for 1' pizzas not only for their value but also our unique style of thin and crispy bases with original toppings that you won't find anywhere else. Music is another important aspect of the Bier Halle experience, we curate all of our own playlists in house and have DJ's playing every Friday and Saturday from 9-12.
In recent years the addition of our ‘Bier Garten' has proved a huge hit with customers. Situated right on our door step, it spans all the way along to Buchanan Street. When we do get a rare bit of sun there's no better spot to grab a beer in the city centre and do a bit of people watching.
