The team behind Surry Hills small bar Tokyo Bird and Tramsheds modern Japanese restaurant Osaka Trading Co. opened Banchō in late 2018.
We’re excited to bring a quality drinking experience to Sydney’s Chinatown. Our cocktails showcase local market produce and the bounty of Asian ingredients around us. Our back bar features a large selection of Japanese and Scotch whisky, including rare and independent bottlings.
And our bar snacks and late night food menu are designed to go hand in hand with the top shelf drinking to be had here at Banchō.
