Live performances by bands in a variety of music styles in an unassuming nightspot.
There are several ways of finding us- the easiest is to take I-85 to I-65, go south 1 exit to
Fairview Avenue, exit on the right, come back under the Interstate and head East. (You’ll be in
a seedy commercial district- don’t despair. It gets much better.) Head east on Fairview Avenue
about 1.75 miles. The scenery changes to nice houses and lots of green lawns. You’ll suddenly
come to an intersection of 5 roads ( Montgomery’s very own “Five Points”, so to speak) There’ll
be a dry cleaners directly in front of you with a sports bar behind it (Bud’s) and a coffee shop
and pizza place behind that. (Cafe Louisa and Tomatino’s) On the left (still on Fairview) will be a
Mexican Restaurant ( El Rey) and a movie theater (The Capri- an independent art house
theatre), and behind that, Sinclair’s, a popular local restaurant. Keep going. Up on the right a
half block, and there we are! We’re the free-standing building with the torches and the large
glassed in deck on the front, across from a large High School (now part of Huntingdon College).
If you keep going past us, you’ll see Huntingdon College on the right, and eventually, about ‚ a
half mile down the road,you’ll dead end at the gates of the Montgomery Country Club. That is
most definitely NOT us!
