The Bank is Hamilton’s most iconic bar and effectively created the Southend hospitality precinct when it was opened in 1994. The Bank remains one of Hamilton’s favourite bars to this day, due in part to the beautiful historic building in which it is situated and the fact it possesses one of Hamilton’s most impressive inner city beer gardens. The Bank is a great spot for an after work drink, whatever the season, and it is still the number one nightclub in town with entertainment from some of Hamilton’s top DJs and live musicians every Friday and Saturday night. More than just a bar, The Bank is also a popular eatery known for its delicious and great value $12 lunches and $20 dinners available seven days a week.
