Claimant details

Welcome to Circa 33! Our name pays tribute to our neighborhood street block and the year 1933 which was the year prohibition was repealed. We call ourselves a neighborhood haunt that focuses on great ambiance, delicious food and classic libations. You’ll notice our cocktail menu is dated according to year the cocktails were founded; showcasing drinks of the 1900’s and drinks influenced by the 21st century. All cocktails follow a ¢‚¬Å“classic formula¢‚¬ ¢‚¬€œ a combination of spirit, sugar, citrus and bitters, using some unique spirits such as Cynard, Green Chartreuse, Absinthe and Lillet Blanc. In addition to our selection of classic cocktails, we feature over 100 whiskeys in our library-style bar. Try one of our 12 beers on draft, highlighting great NW microbrews, cider, as well as some European styles. Our food offering is inspired by 1930s French cuisine. Find updated takes on classic French dishes, with a Circa 33 spin, featuring seasonal fresh ingredients. Our dishes frequently feature housemade sauces, and pickled and cured items ¢‚¬€ always made in-house and organic, whenever possible. This bar was built to be a hangout for the neighborhood to make their own. We hope you enjoy your stay and we’ll see you again soon.

Strolling through Adelaide, you’re likely to be captivated by its historic houses and striking churches. However, it’s the pubs that often steal the show. These establishments, some of the most majestic and historic in Australia, don’t always get the recognition they deserve. For instance, consider the Newmarket Hotel, a stunning three-story pub from 1883, which, though facing demolition, remains a significant piece of Adelaide’s history.

Another hidden gem is the Beresford Arms Inn on Gilles St. Though no longer operational, its magnificence is undeniable.
