Buddha-Bar London

About Buddha-Bar London

It was back in 1996 that Raymond Visan opened the first Buddha Bar in Paris. With its ground breaking Pan Asian Menu, chick nightclub vibe and house music no credible it would create a best-selling record label in its wake, it soon became the venue of choice for the city beau monde. Since then Buddha-bar brand has become one of the world’s most successful with outposts in over a dozen destinations worldwide including Monte Carlo, Moscow and Manila. Now to this illustrious list can be added the gorgeous Buddhabar Restaurant London in the heart of Knightsbridge. The BUDDHA-BAR in Paris features a giant Buddha statue, designed and sculpted by Bruno Tanquerel. Some BUDDHA-BAR and LITTLE BUDDHA Licenses also feature giant Buddha statues, some of which are adaptations of the BUDDHA-BAR Paris statue. Some merchandise sold by GVE, GV Records and/or its Licensees (Music Compilations, T-Shirts, etc), some promotional, marketing materials and logos used by GVE or its affiliates may feature the reproduction or adaptation of the BUDDHA-BAR Paris statue designed and sculpted by Bruno Tanquerel. The first solo project for brand co-founder Tarja Visan, Buddha-Bar London marks something of a departure from previous openings. Although still featuring some of the capitals best DJ’s and a great line in amazing cocktails ¢‚¬€œ the emphasis is very much on the food.

The Oldest Pubs In Adelaide

Adelaide, commonly known as the city of churches, hides another rich historical facet – it’s a city teeming with classic bars and pubs. Strolling through Adelaide, you’re likely to be captivated by its historic houses and striking churches. However, it’s the pubs that often steal the show. These establishments, some of the most majestic and historic in Australia, don’t always get the recognition they deserve. For instance, consider the Newmarket Hotel, a stunning three-story pub from 1883, which, though facing demolition, remains a significant piece of Adelaide’s history.

Another hidden gem is the Beresford Arms Inn on Gilles St. Though no longer operational, its magnificence is undeniable.
