10 Best Nightclubs in Sydney

Controversial ‘lockout laws’ definitely toned down Sydney’s nightlife. Sydney still loves to party, and there are still plenty of places around, maybe just in a different form.

the soda factory speakeasy

When you say Soda Factory, you think of all-night-long parties, classic retro tunes, and cheerful party vibes. The Soda Factory is a fun spot for teenagers and travelers. It offers one of Sydney’s most affordable dinners and movies on Mondays, and one-dollar hot dogs on Tuesdays. It’s hard to imagine how hectic the queues are. Come and see it for yourself!

Frankie’s Pizza is the city-center basement bar, a live-music venue, pizza cafe, and pinball museum all under the same roof. It doesn’t fit into any conventional category, but it guarantees a good night out seven days a week. Don’t miss rock and roll parties on Fridays and during the weekend until 3 AM! You can expect old photos on the walls, candles in bottles, red and white tablecloths, and excellent pizzas. And, yes, this classic pizza restaurant in the business district is the best rock’n’roll venue Sydney has ever seen.

the pickled possum neutral bay

Last but not least, you have to head over to the North shore. The pickled possum has a lot of history. If you can imagine Las Vegas super club, the pickled possum is the opposite of that. They serve drinks from a blue esky and have karaoke on most nights. Trust me, it will be a night to remember.
